“scrap” vegetable broth

 

I’ve been saving all my vegetable scraps all week.

Anything–cucumber ends, carrot peels, mushroom stems, bell pepper seeds. . . Then, I cooked it with an unpeeled garlic clove, an onion, peppercorns and salt.

Homemade vegetable broth. (I may be getting weird at this point. . .)
