I adapted this from Happy Herbivore, and they are delicious!
An easy breakfast idea. You literally only need to remember to buy one sweet-ish apple at the farmers’ market : )
- 2 cups GFAP flour
- 2 TBS baking powder
- pinch salt
- 1 sweet apple, cored, chopped
- TBS agave nectar
- 1/4 cup water
- zest of an orange
- tea almond extract
Pulse apple, water and agave in food processor until very smooth and batter-looking.
Mix dry ingredients. Add apple mixture and zest.
Use some uniform shape to plop biscuits on sheet pan.
400 14 minutes.
Top with hashbrowns, blackberries, Earth Balance and orange zest! : )
